Awesomeness!!!

I don't know why that's the title of my blog... I just love that word. I always tell the young men in my ward that they need to be awesome, and that being good is awesome, etc. It's just a good word!

Well, it's been over six months since my last blog... LOSER!!!

Today was an awesome Sunday! I played some serious Star Wars Mashoonga on the trampoline with Logan and Lexi, and just pretty much hung out the rest of the day. I remember wrestling with Macey at some point, too. She had been playing in the skunk weed today and then was rolling over on my face... The scent of skunk weed was pretty pungent!

We had our home teachers over, and I went to visit one family as well. It always makes you feel good to do your home teaching!

(This post is my way of easing back into the blogging scene... please bare with me)

Welcome back. Awesomeness is an awesome word. This was actually my second visit to your blog. My last visit was over a year ago and I remember reading some post about you wanting an old volkswagen and thinking, "I always liked that Dave Harlow kid."

I'm glad you're back. I hope it's for good this time! Thank you for playing with the kids so I don't have to. Just kidding. You know I love star wars mashoonga.

Welcome Back!!!! You are an AWESOME father and husband. I love reading about your adventures!

Question:
What is home teaching?

Nice Dave! Good to hear from you! I have your blog on my reader and as you know I haven't had to check your blog for awhile! Wrestiling with the kids is the best! Look forward to hearing about what you're up to! As for me, I can't say that I have a blog. Later!

Hey guys!

Thanks for checking out my blog... I can always count on you.

Tanyetta, home teaching is how we "Mormons" get out and visit all the members of our church in our area. The men pair up in twos and go visit a few families they are assigned to. We usually bring a spiritual message, and just check in on the family to make sure they're doing alright. If we find out they have needs or something we relay the message on and make sure we're all taken care of.

The women do the same thing, but call it visiting teaching.

If you want some home or visiting teachers, I'm sure we could make some arrangements! ;o)
